With over 25 years experience working with government and corporate computer systems, I've seen it all from centralised IBM mainframes with magnetic tape storage through to distributed cloud-based services with geo-redundant storage.

I fell in love with computers at the age of 9 when my dad bought me a Commodore VIC-20. At this tender age, I was punching in any programs I could find printed in those 1980s computer magazines. This helped me develop a focus and keen eye for detail that has followed me through my professional career.
